You probably think of Seattle as the ultimate destination in Washington State. While the city has a lot of great attractions, it’s not what we would call a “peaceful getaway.” If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in the Pacific Northwest, head to Washington Wine Country! Yakima, WA, is the state’s premier wine region and boasts hundreds of acres of vineyards. It’s also less than a three-hour drive from the big city, so it’s possible to experience the best of both worlds during your Washington State getaway.
