What Are the Best Pet-Friendly Hotels in Yakima WA?

Leaving your four-legged family member at home while you go on vacation is hard. Don’t worry about spending more time, money, and emotional energy than is necessary when you book a stay at pet-friendly hotels in Yakima, WA! Birchfield Manor is among the best places for your family to rest their feet (and paws!) during a trip to Yakima Valley.

Birchfield Manor Is Among the Best Pet-Friendly Hotels in Yakima, WA

Our Tail Waggin’ Pet Policy

Birchfield Manor’s pet policy is clear and easy to understand. The six rooms in the Inn, located just steps away from the Main House, are all pet-friendly. Guests are allowed to add up to two pets to their reservation for $25 each. Simply add the number of pets to your reservation at checkout! It’s as simple as that. There are no hidden fees or fine print in our pet policy. However, there is a $250 fee after checkout if your pet causes damage to the room.

As a courtesy to all other guests, human and K9, here are a few general rules about managing your pet while on the property:

  • Make sure you keep your dog on-leash at all times while it’s doing its business or exploring outside on our property. This is a courtesy to other guests and their pets who may be uncomfortable with strange dogs approaching them.
  • Pick up after your pet! Be sure to pack doggy bags to pick up your dog’s waste. There are trash cans located on the property where you can properly dispose of it.
  • We do ask that you consider if your dog is able to be left alone in the room without barking excessively. We know it’s natural for dogs to bark, but we want to ensure that each and every guest has a relaxing stay. Plus, there are plenty of dog-friendly things to do in the area so that you don’t have to leave your pet alone!

Dog-Friendly Things to Do in Yakima

Yakima, WA, is full of dog-friendly things to do. You can even bring your four-legged best friend to some local Yakima Valley wineries to soak up the sun while you sip on delicious blends.

One of our favorite dog-friendly wineries in Yakima is Wilridge Estate Vineyard. This winery is located just a short drive away from our pet-friendly hotel and allows humans and their K9 companions to enjoy Yakima’s peaceful landscape. Upon arrival, pick up a copy of the Wilridge Vineyard Map. This guide outlines the property’s trails, which lead to spectacular views of Yakima’s landscape. Afterward, treat yourself to a glass of wine on the tasting room patio.

Start or end each day with a pack walk on the Yakima Greenway. This nature area offers 15 miles of paved walkways that boast views of lush greenery and small ponds.
