Here’s Why Birchfield Manor Is the Best Place to Stay in Yakima, WA
Peaceful Accommodations
Sure, premier amenities are a perk, but comfortable guest rooms are the basis of any exceptional lodging experience. At Birchfield Manor, we offer two accommodation types to suit your needs. Our Main House boasts five guest rooms that serve as a serene, peaceful escape from everyday life. Or, for a more casual feel, opt to stay in one of our six Inn rooms. Both accommodation types are recently updated, have in-suite bathrooms, oversized jetted tubs, gas fireplaces, and flat-screen televisions! All of our guest rooms also boast views of our expansive grounds, pond, or vineyard.
First-Class Dining
Birchfield Manor has restaurant roots. Before it was a bed and breakfast, the property was home to the Masset family. Wilford Masset was a Swiss-trained chef, who spent many evenings in the kitchen teaching his son, Brad, the tricks of the trade. Now, Brad Masset owns and operates Birchfield Manor and acts at the head chef. As a guest, you can enjoy a daily, gourmet breakfast each morning of your stay. Breakfast is made fresh, in-house daily and features a variety of in-season ingredients and local flavors.
Thursday through Saturday evenings, Birchfield Manor Restaurant transforms into a 5-star dining experience. Each night, Chef Masset prepares artfully crafted dishes that star local flavors. You can almost always expect thoughtful blends, in-season fruit, and locally sourced meat to make an appearance on your plate! A couple of examples of out fanciful dishes include King salmon en puff pastry served with Yakima Valley Charronday sauce and roasted rack of lamb with apple and dijon and served with Yakima Valley Cabernet sauce. Birchfield Manor Restaurant is open to non-guests, so don’t hesitate to make a reservation!
We’re Pet-Friendly
Unlike many hotels in Yakima, we understand that vacation isn’t complete without the entire family! That’s why our bed and breakfast is pet-friendly! The six rooms located at our Inn can accommodate up to two pets per room. Our pet fee is $25 per pet at the time of booking.
Don’t Just Take Our Word for It
As Yakima natives, we think our home is pretty great, but, don’t just take our word for it! Lifestyle blogger, Skye Perrin, took a chance on Yakima and loved it, too. Her Wine Country weekend getaway included a stay at Birchfield Manor, a vineyard tour of Naches Heights, a trip to the spa, much-need poolside relaxation at our bed and breakfast, and more. About our bed and breakfast, she said, “Birchfield Manor is definitely the way to go if relaxation is your goal. Amenities such as the in-room jacuzzi, pool, on-site restaurant, and option for complimentary breakfast to be served up to the room took this trip to the next level.”
Ms. Perrin dined at Birchfield Manor Restaurant during her stay. Here’s what she had to say about it, “While you absolutely should stay here to get the full experience, even stopping by just for dinner will be well worth your time.” She added, “We opted for the duck & filet mignon, and they did not disappoint.”
