Spring time-the blossom of new flavors
One of the best things about living and working in the Yakima Valley is that I can prepare dishes representing the bountiful crops that grow from spring through late fall/early winter. Each season comes with unique flavors and textures that we enjoying putting in dishes for both our traveling guests as well as our local regulars to enjoy. Spring time means out with the heavy, comfort foods we all enjoying during those long, cold winter evenings and in with bright colored, spring time fruits and vegetables and lighter meats and fishes that sit lighter with people as they become more active with spring.
As you are enjoying the Yakima spring time weather; visiting our wineries, hitting the local farmers markets, or just enjoying finally being outside, make sure to stop by and try one of our delicious entrees that will surely make you as big of fan of spring time in the Yakima valley as I am.
